The Association of Health Insurance Advisors has elected its 2006-2007 officers.
Lawrence Lounds will succeed Debra Newman as president of AHIA, the health conference of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Falls Church, Va.
Tomas Vander Wal will be president elect; Sam Cunningham, treasurer; and Robelynn Abadie, secretary.
Lounds is an AHIA charter member who is principal of Security First Insurance Agency, Flint, Mich., and president of Security First Benefits Corp., Flint. He has held all offices at the Flint and Michigan chapters of NAIFA.
