Securian Financial Group is guaranteeing an interview to any job hunters who are referred for employment by next Monday by its existing employees.
Securian, St. Paul, Minn., says 40% of its new hires start with referrals from current employees.
Rather than contacting their human resources department directly with referrals, Securian employees can make their referrals by e-mail. Software then triggers automatic messages to referred job candidates, linking them to a page on Securian’s Web site available only to them.
Candidates applying for jobs using that Web page by August 28 are promised a job interview and will be contacted directly by a company employment specialist.
