Bank Fund Sales Up

Mutual fund sales by financial institutions during the second quarter rose to $10.8 billion from $9.5 billion in the second quarter last year.

It was the second highest quarterly fund total reported by banks in the past 5 years, according to Kenneth Kehrer Associates, Princeton, N. J., which conducted the study.
