CIGNA Goes Bilingual

A large group insurance business is ramping up efforts to communicate with workers who prefer to read about employee benefits in Spanish.

The group insurance arm of CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, says it is making Spanish-language materials part of its standard group life, group accident and group disability marketing program.

The Spanish-language materials include insurance applications, enrollment forms and beneficiary designation forms as well as information materials, CIGNA says.
