MassMutual Fills 2 High-Level Positions

Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company has promoted Michael Rollings to chief financial officer.

Rollings, who will become an executive vice president, has been an interim CFO at MassMutual, Springfield, Mass., since Howard Gunton, the previous CFO, retired in April.

Before taking over for Gunton, Rollings was a senior vice president and deputy CFO.

Rollings, 42, has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.

MassMutual also has promoted Elaine Sarsynski, the company’s chief administrative officer, to executive vice president, from senior vice president.

Sarsynski has been MassMutual’s chief administrative officer since September 2005. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Smith College and a master’s degree in finance from Columbia University.
