Disability Insurer Adds Mid-Level Policy

A unit of Lincoln National Corp. has come out with another product that can protect workers against illnesses or injuries that result in loss of income.

Lincoln, Philadelphia, has introduced the Advantage Plan group long-term disability plan.

The plan offers richer benefits than Lincoln's low-end Value Plan, but more ability to add cost-saving features, such as mandatory vocational rehabilitation programs or 24-month specified illness limitations, than the company's Premier Plan, Lincoln says.
