A Louisiana insurer is using a Web-based system from a New Jersey company to sell life insurance to bank customers.
Pan-American Life Insurance Company, New Orleans, has used the WriteNow instant underwriting and issuance application system from MFX Global Services Inc., Parsippany, N.Y., to develop its new Simple Life bank insurance product, according to MFX.
The WriteNow system can qualify prospects, rate applicants, generate quotes, and bind and deliver policy documents in any language in minutes, MFX says.
Pan-American chose the WriteNow system in part because of its need to communicate with Spanish-speaking customers as well as English-speaking customers, MFX says.
