Spitzer Asks Insurer For Information

New York state officials continue to look closely at methods used to sell retirement plans.

Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, says it has received a subpoena, or official request for information, from the office of New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer about the marketing and sale of retirement products and services.
