A risk management firm is expanding its capabilities for selling insurance through nonprofit groups.
Affinity Insurance Services Inc., Hatboro, Pa., a unit of Aon Corp., Chicago, has acquired a division of JLT Services Corp., Latham, N.Y., that sells life insurance, health insurance and other products through a dozen large associations.
The JLT division has about 50 employees in Latham and Chicago, and “most” will join Affinity Insurance, Aon says.
JLT Services is part of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C., London.
