The Maine Bureau of Insurance is preparing to hold a hearing on the performance of the state’s Dirigo Health Agency program.

State lawmakers formed Dirigo in an effort to help uninsured Maine residents get health coverage.

The Dirigo agency board is supposed to file a report analyzing any measurable cost savings resulting from Dirigo plan operations by May 12, officials say.

Maine officials expect to hold a public hearing on the report sometime between June 5 and July 18.

More information about the performance report process and opportunities to participate in the hearing is on the Web at Document Link
