AXA Distributors LLC has appointed William C. Miller Jr. as chief sales officer, effective April 24.
Subject to approval by the AXA board, Miller will become a senior vice president of AXA Equitable, New York, and an executive vice president of AXA Distributors. He will report to Jamie Shepherdson, president of AXA Distributors and executive vice president of AXA Equitable.
Miller will be in charge of annuity sales through broker-dealers, banks and independent financial planners as well as AXA Advisors channels.
Before joining AXA, Miller was senior vice president and head of distribution for Lincoln Financial Distributors’ American Legacy products.
