Principal Promotes High-Deductible Dental

A Midwestern insurer is trying to persuade employers and brokers to take a new approach to dental benefits.

Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, says its executives will be going on the road to introduce producers to new dental plan designs that combine high-deductible health insurance, individual health accounts and Web-based services for comparing the cost and quality of dental care providers’ services.
