Aetna Concludes Disability Acquisition

Aetna Inc. says it has completed its purchase of the disability and leave management business of Broadspire Inc., a disability and casualty claims management firm.

Aetna announced Feb. 27 that it had agreed to acquire Broadspire’s disability business for around $160 million. The cash deal did not include Broadspire’s workers’ compensation and casualty administration business.
