The professional publishing division at The National Underwriter Company is teaming with WFG Capital Advisors L.P. to conduct a 1-day seminar on the insurance agency mergers and acquisitions market.
The seminar, “Mergers & Acquisitions and Other Strategic Alternatives To Maximize Shareholder Value,” is set to start May 17 at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda, Md.
The seminar will be geared toward agency owners and executives, banking executives and other industry professionals, organizers say.
Topics of discussion will include agency valuation and deal structures; the effect of banks on the market; the prices that are being paid by the different buyer groups; what an agency owner should expect from the transaction process; and life after the deal.
