A growing group life insurer is opening a New York office to go after large corporate accounts.
Securian Life Insurance Company, a unit of Minnesota Mutual Cos. Inc., St. Paul, Minn., has named Connie Cottrill, a group sales manager for the company’s Eastern region, to run the new office, which is at 300 Park Ave., Manhattan.
Securian Life says it hopes to appeal to large corporate customers with a combination of self-service technology and customer service from live human beings.
