With a new Fed Chief taking over for the retiring Alan Greenspan, we wondered what advisors saw as his main challenge.IA asked: “For the first time in 18 years the U.S. has a new Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke. What’s the most critical issue for him to address?”

Advisors say they want Ben Bernanke to keep inflation in check. That’s what 40% of participants answered. Rates are a concern as well; 31% say that’s the most critical issue. While 20% of advisors believe that the looming pension crisis is Bernanke’s biggest issue, only 4% felt that preventing future market bubbles should be his most critical task. Five percent of readers selected “Other” but did not specify what they meant by that.
