Toole To Report On Flu

The Society of Actuaries has commissioned a study on the possible effects of an avian influenza pandemic on the insurance industry.

Jim Toole, a managing director in the Winston-Salem, N.C., office of MBA Actuaries Inc., will conduct the study and present the results in June, at the SOA’s spring health meeting in Hollywood, Fla., according to the SOA, Schaumburg, Ill.
