New School Division To Promote Ethics

The American College is launching a Center for Ethics in Financial Services.

The center will try to raise the level of ethical behavior in the financial services industry, according to officials at the college, which is based in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

The college plans to hold a free panel discussion on ethics 2 p.m. March 16 to celebrate the opening of the center and observe Ethics Awareness Month.

Speakers will discuss topics such as annuity marketing efforts, compensation disclosure and life settlements, according to the college.

The college will be presenting the seminar on the Web.
