A financial services support company is increasing the size of a unit that helps other companies sell retirement plans.

BISYS Group Inc., New York, says it has increased the size of its retirement services sales and support staff by 40% over the past 6 months and gone outside to hire a number of regional vice presidents with retirement plan sales experience.

The external sales force, the internal wholesaling group and the sales desk group that handles inbound calls all have grown, BISYS says.
