The American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries is preparing to start a 3-day 401(k) Summit conference Feb. 26 in Orlando, Fla.
Workshop topics will include business building investments, plan design and practice management.
The general session events will include a talk by Shlomo Benartzi, a researcher at the University of California at Los Angeles, about how retirement plan managers can persuade plan participants to save more.
C. Frederick Reish, a workshop speaker, will give a talk on strategies 401(k) advisors can use to avoid becoming plan fiduciaries.
