A U.S. life insurance unit of Zurich Financial Services Group has brought back its former chief financial officer.
Oscar Tengtio, who was CFO at the unit, Farmers New World Life Insurance Company, Mercer Island, Wash., has rejoined the unit as CFO after serving for a year as the CFO at Symetra Financial Corp., Bellevue, Wash.
Farmers New World is now part of Farmers Insurance Group, Los Angeles, which, in turn, is part of Zurich Financial, Zurich.
Tengtio has a bachelor’s degree in management from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines and a master’s degree in finance from New York University.
