A new high-deductible health insurer has recruited a sales executive.
Imerica Life and Health Insurance Company, Tampa, Fla., a company that sells health savings account-compatible insurance products, has hired Wayne Stoltenberg to be vice president of sales.
Stoltenberg previously was a sales production leader at a unit of Humana Inc., Louisville, Ky., and director of wholesale-network development at Humana’s dental insurance division.
In January, Imerica hired 2 other Humana veterans to be regional sales vice presidents.
Stoltenberg has a bachelor’s degree in history from Marquette University. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant, Registered Health Underwriter, Fellow Life Management Institute and Chartered Life Underwriter professional designations.
