A company recently acquired by UnitedHealth Group Inc. is reaffirming its commitment to the Nevada health insurance market.
PacifiCare, Cypress, Calif., now a unit of UnitedHealth, Minnetonka, Minn., has introduced a family of Small Business Choice Series plans for businesses in Nevada with 10 to 50 actively enrolled employees.
The product family includes health savings account-compatible plans, traditional preferred provider plans, high-deductible preferred-provider plans and point-of-service plans, and employers can offer several different versions of similar plan types, PacifiCare says.
