A company that runs a major online variable annuity sales system is branching out into fixed annuities.
Finetre Corp., Herndon, Va., has agreed to work with Beacon Research Inc., Evanston, Ill., a fixed annuity data vendor, to develop the FA sales system.
The system, due by the end of the year, will give sales representatives the ability to choose fixed annuity products for clients and make sales electronically, according to Finetre and Beacon.
The system also will include software that will help reps search profiles of a distributor’s fixed annuity product line, the companies say.
