A multiline insurer is beefing up the options it markets to group benefits customers.

The insurer, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Boston, is adding an employee assistance program for group life and group disability insureds and a beneficiary services program for claimants from Bensinger, DuPont & Associates, Chicago.

Liberty Mutual, which sells group life and group disability through its Liberty Life Assurance Company unit, says the EAP will include a package of legal services, telephone-based financial planning services, telephone-based counseling, and up to 5 in-person counseling sessions.

The beneficiary services program will offer financial planning services along with up to 5 in-person sessions with local lawyers and counselors, according to Liberty Mutual.
