Settlement Firm Adds Buying Capacity

The life settlement arm of Peachtree Settlement Funding L.L.C. says it has arranged for $225 million in new institutional financing.

The financing should give Peachtree’s Boca Raton, Fla.-based life settlement unit the capacity to buy up to $400 million in additional net death benefits, the firm says.
