The executive committee of the Insurance Federation of Minnesota has named an IFM veteran, Robert Johnson, to succeed Al Parsons as the federation’s president.[@@]
The IFM, St. Paul, Minn., represents a number of life insurers in Minnesota as well as property-casualty insurers.
Johnson, who previously was the IFM’s executive vice president, began working for the group as its counsel in 1977.
Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from the William Mitchell College of Law.
