Microsoft Debuts Advisor Platform

Microsoft Corp. today announced a Web services framework designed to help advisors take a centralized view of both customers and investment products and services.[@@]

Microsoft, Redmond, Wash., says its new Microsoft Advisor Platform can improve financial advisors’ ability to provide customer service and take advantage of their existing IT system to find the wealth within.

The platform gives advisors centralized access to client information, helping them offer broader advice, increase cross-selling opportunities and enhance regulatory compliance, says Microsoft.
