Members of the Life Insurance Council of New York Inc. have elected Dennis Manning to be the council’s 2006 chairman.[@@]
Manning is president of Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York.
Manning has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Notre Dame, and he served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Raul Rivera, chairman of National Benefit Life Insurance Company, New York, is the immediate past chairman of LICONY, Albany, N.Y.
Mitchell Politzer will be the group’s chairman elect, and David Sloane will be the secretary-treasurer.
LICONY will represent 48 insurers in 2006 along with 15 associate members and 13 allied professional firms.
