Hartford Financial Services Inc. is returning as the sponsor of a major winter sports gathering for people with disabilities.[@@]
The 1-week Hartford Ski Spectacular is scheduled to start Sunday at a resort in Breckenridge, Colo.
Organizers of the event expect to attract 600 participants, including 75 U.S. soldiers who have been injured in conflict abroad.
Members of the U.S. Paralympic Team, which includes Olympic-level skiers with serious physical disabilities, will ski alongside the veterans, according to Hartford Financial, Hartford.
In addition to sponsoring the ski event, Hartford is paying for 5 families of wounded veterans to attend.
