A financial services giant is updating the names of its life insurance subsidiaries.[@@]
The company, Genworth Financial Inc., Richmond, Va., says it plans to rename 3 life subsidiaries Jan. 1, 2006.
- General Electric Capital Assurance Company will become Genworth Life Insurance Company.
- GE Life and Annuity Assurance Company will become Genworth Life and Annuity Insurance Company.
- GE Capital Life Assurance Company of New York will become Genworth Life Insurance Company of New York.
The changes will not affect the terms or conditions of policies and contracts, Genworth says.
