CIGNA Corp. has given Karen Rohan responsibility for its group insurance unit as well as its dental and vision care unit.
Rohan has been president of a family of health care specialty businesses, including the dental and vision care operation, within the health care unit at CIGNA, Philadelphia.
Now Rohan will run both the dental and vision care operation and the group insurance unit, CIGNA says.
Rohan is taking over at the group insurance unit from Greg Wolf, who is leaving CIGNA, CIGNA says.
Rohan herself was president of CIGNA Dental & Vision Care before she became president of the health care specialty businesses.
CIGNA says Rohan will work to sell CIGNA dental and vision products through the group insurance unit as well as through the CIGNA HealthCare sales force.
Rohan has a bachelor’s degree from Boston College. She holds the Certified Public Accountant professional designation.
