MetLife To Reach Out To Churches

MetLife Inc. will be helping Atlanta Life Insurance Company provide a retirement education program for the 1,000 Churches Connected program.[@@]

MetLife, New York, began teaming up with Atlanta Life, Atlanta, to market to African-American consumers.

The Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, Chicago, organized the 1,000 Churches Connected program to use churches as vehicle for teaching “financial stewardship” to members of minority groups, according to the group’s mission statement.

Atlanta Life and MetLife will be helping pastors, churches, church employees and congregation members learn about ways to prepare for retirement.
