The retirement services division at BISYS Group Inc. has hired John Farmakis Jr. to be senior vice president of business development.[@@]
Farmakis, who will be in charge of institutional sales, will be based in Roseland, N.J. He previously was vice president of institutional management at FASCore, a benefit plan administration subsidiary of Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company, Greenwood Village, Colo.
Farmakis has a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Williams College.
