Scheduled panelists include Frank Keating, president of the American Council of Life Insurers, Washington; Robert Plybon, a past president of both the Million Dollar Round Table, Park Ridge, Ill., and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, Falls Church, Va.; Gregory Serio, former New York State insurance superintendent; Albert Schiff, chief executive of New York Life Executive Benefits L.L.C., New York; Nat Shapo, former Illinois insurance commissioner; and Thomas Workman, president of the Life Insurance Council of New York Inc.
Topics of discussion will include the proposed federal charter system for life insurers and the future of life settlements, event organizers say.
