The board of the Insurance Marketplace Standards Association has confirmed Leon Roday as chairman.[@@]
Roday, general counsel of Genworth Financial Inc., Richmond, Va., has been the chairman-elect at IMSA, Washington.
IMSA is a voluntary, nonprofit group that promotes adherence to ethical standards in the annuity, life insurance and long term care insurance industries.
In addition to confirming that Roday will be chairman of IMSA, the IMSA board has elected 4 new board members.
The new board members are John Bremer of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, Milwaukee; Brian Breneman of the New England Financial unit at MetLife Inc., New York; Charles Cornelio of Jefferson-Pilot Corp.; and Brenda Cude of the University of Georgia.
