LTC Global Solutions Inc., says it has purchased a Ft. Myers, Fla. agency from Kanawha Insurance Company.[@@]
The agency, which had been senior marketing division of Kanawha, Lancaster, S.C., will be renamed Senior Global Solutions LLC.
LTC Global, Medford, Ore., says the new entity will focus on providing marketing and financial services to agencies and agents providing long-term care and Medicare supplement insurance to the senior market.
John Chitwood will continue in his capacity as head of the Ft. Myers agency.
LTC Global provides financial, marketing and operational services to agencies and carriers in the LTC insurance industry.
Kanawha was purchased late last year by a Minneapolis consortium, KMG America Corp., which announced it would focus the company on group and worksite insurance.
