Symetra Life Insurance Company has developed a voluntary worksite universal life insurance program that requires no employer contributions.[@@]

The Symetra WorkLife UL program will sell universal life insurance to employees at the worksite, according to Symetra, Bellevue, Wash., the former Safeco Life & Investments.

UL product features include access to up to 100% of discounted death benefits for insureds who suffer from a terminal illness or need nursing home care.

Worksite sales program features include an automatic payroll deduction premium payment system and full enrollment and underwriting support for agents who bring Symetra cases.

Professional enrollers will visit the worksite to sign up employees, Symetra says.
