B.E. Wraith, president of Lincoln Benefit Life Company, plans to retire in April 2006.[@@]
The Lincoln, Neb., company, a unit of Allstate Corp., Northbrook, Ill., has named Larry Dahl to succeed Wraith, according to Lincoln Benefit.
Wraith began working for Lincoln Benefit in 1979 as a regional vice president and has been president of the company since 1996.
Dahl, who began working for Lincoln Benefit in 1999 as executive vice president of field marketing support, has been the company’s executive vice president of sales management.
Lincoln Benefit has about $13.3 billion in assets under management.
