SHPS Inc. is updating the menu of Family Medical Leave Act support services it offers through the group insurance unit at CIGNA Corp.[@@]
SHPS Inc., Louisville, Ky., will be providing FMLA support services for CIGNA short-term disability insurance customers with as few as 500 employees, according to CIGNA, Philadelphia.
FMLA support services also will be available to STD customers with STD programs that cover “partial employee populations,” CIGNA says.
Other updates:
- The cost of support for jury, military and bereavement leaves will be built into the base rate.
- Employers can add coverage for domestic partners at no additional cost.
