Aviva Life Insurance Company has hired William Hewlett to be vice president and chief underwriter.[@@]
Hewlett previously was a senior underwriting manager at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Springfield, Mass., according to Aviva, North Quincy, Mass.
Hewlett has a bachelor's degree from Lafayette College and a master's degree in business from the University of Massachusetts.
Aviva is a unit of Aviva P.L.C., London.
