The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors elected David Smithkey president Wednesday at its annual conference in Baltimore.[@@]
Smithkey, a holder of the Chartered Life Underwriter and Registered Financial Consultant designations, is principal of Security First Benefits Corp., Flint, Mich.
John Davidson, a Thousand, Oaks., Calif., field representative for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, will be president-elect.
The other officers at NAIFA, Falls Church, Va., are Jeffrey Taggart, secretary, and Peter Browne, treasurer.
C. Robert Brown is the group’s immediate past president.
