CIGNA Corp. says 2 of its specialty units have made changes to their provider networks.[@@]
The company’s CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits unit has agreed to rent a South American provider network from World Assist Corp., Orlando, Fla.
The World Assist network includes dozens of top hospitals, clinics and doctors in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, according to CIGNA, Philadelphia.
CIGNA’s behavioral health unit, which is based in Eden Prairie, Minn., has announced a program that will give employers the ability to choose from a menu of 4 network options.
Employers can use CIGNA providers, use CIGNA to manage their own network, or combine CIGNA’s providers with their own network providers, CIGNA says.
