National Financial Partners Corp. has hired Stancil Barton to be chief compliance and ethics officer.[@@]
Barton previously was a co-founder and partner at Baetz & Barton L.L.P., Houston, according to NFP, New York, a financial services distribution firm.
Barton also has been an associate general counsel at a life insurance unit of American General Corp., Houston.
Barton has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
