CIGNA HealthCare has appointed David Toomey as president and general manager of CIGNA HealthCare for the south region.[@@]
The region he manages is comprised of Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
Toomey has 20 years’ experience in employee benefits and health plan management, along with extensive health care expertise.
Before joining CIGNA, he served as the market head of national accounts for Aetna in the Pacific Northwest.
He maintains offices in both the Dallas and Houston offices of CIGNA HealthCare.
