Swiss Re Veteran Moves To Scottish Re

Scottish Re Group Ltd. has hired Dean Miller to succeed Elizabeth Murphy as chief financial officer.[@@]

Murphy, 50, recently announced her retirement.

Miller has been chief executive officer of the United Kingdom Admin Re business at Swiss Reinsurance Company, Zurich. He also ran Swiss Re’s U.K. insurance services unit.

Before Miller went to work with Swiss Re, he was a partner in the New York office of Ernst & Young L.L.P. He has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and holds the Certified Public Accountant professional designation.
