Highmark Blue Shield now is offering a new Medicare managed care plan to residents of 10 Pennsylvania counties.[@@]
The plan, the FreedomBlue plan, is available to 440,000 Medicare beneficiaries living in Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Northampton, Perry and York counties, according to Highmark Blue, a unit of Highmark Inc., Pittsburgh.
The monthly premium will be $70 for a plan without a drug benefit and $120 per month for a plan that includes $1,000 per year in prescription drug coverage.
