Oklahoma Blue Chooses Benefitfocus

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma has decided to use a benefits enrollment and administration system from Benefitfocus.com Inc.[@@]

Oklahoma Blue, Tulsa, Okla., will be using the system to handle enrollment, billing and data exchange services for employer groups, according to Benefitfocus, Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Oklahoma Blue, a carrier that provides or administers health coverage for 500,000 Oklahoma residents, has started using the Benefitfocus system to administer plans for a few large employers.

The carrier will introduce the system to brokers later this month, Benefitfocus says.
