English And DeMicco Rise At New York Life

New York Life Insurance Company has promoted 2 legal affairs executives.[@@]

Thomas English will succeed Sheila Davidson as senior vice president and general counsel, and Michael DeMicco will become a senior vice president. DeMicco will keeping his current deputy general counsel title.

English and DeMicco are moving up because New York Life promoted Davidson to executive vice president for law and corporate administration.

English, who has been a senior vice president at New York Life and its deputy general counsel since 2000, has a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from Georgetown University.

DeMicco, who has been a first vice president and deputy general counsel at New York Life since 2003, has a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, a master’s degree from Hofstra University and a law degree from St. John’s University.
