Ovations has organized a campaign to explain the new Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit program to consumers.[@@]

Ovations, a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., has developed a 24-page booklet for its new MedicareRx InfoSource campaign and will be using the Web, call centers and events in local stores to reach out to consumers.

Consumers already have requested more than 5 million copies of the drug plan booklet, Ovations says.

Ovations, one of the companies that hopes to participate in the new drug plan program, says it now is developing a Spanish-language version of the booklet.
